Welcome to HavenRidge, a small dream turned into reality!
We are Sharyn and Greg McIntosh
We stumbled across this beautiful 13-acre block in Kaiwaka on a Sunday drive and instantly knew it was something special. The views, the stillness, the feeling of peace - it already felt like home. What started as a cheeky comment about wanting to get llamas turned into a visit to an alpaca farm… and we walked away with seven. That’s how HavenRidge began!
We built this space not just to live the good life, but to share it. We wanted to give others a chance to experience what we feel every day. The joy of slowing down, of connecting with animals and the land, and of finding happiness in simplicity.
We now offer cosy cabin stays, personalised alpaca feeding experiences, hands-on felting workshops and an ever-growing range of alpaca products. If you’re visiting for a weekend or shopping from afar, we hope you leave feeling a little more relaxed, a little more inspired, and with a smile on your face.
Meet Our Herd
Every alpaca on our farm has their own quirks and personality - and our guests love to get to know them!
Nevada
(Born 21 July, 2012)
The Diva. She’s either full of kisses or giving you side-eye. Unmissable with her rare blue eyes. Nevada is Nicola’s Mum and Arlo’s Grandma.

Shy and sweet. A gentle soul who tends to get pushed aside at feeding time.
Marquesa

Born in 2024, he’s a gentle boy with a few skin issues but a heart of gold!

Anzac day baby. Sweet, quiet and always curious.
Santos
(Born 29 December 2024)
Playful and cheeky! Loves belly-flopping into leaves and will stop for a pat if he is not too busy.
Gabriella
(Born 29 January 2025)
Loves to run and investigate, but doesn’t want to be touched thank you very much.
Pablo
(Born 12 February 2025)
A beautiful multi-colour boy. Affectionate, friendly and always happy to say hello!
Whilst the alpacas are the stars of the show, they’re not the only friendly faces around here!
Our quiet and gentle dog Callie is often found down by the cabin collecting pats, and one of our cats Lulu, loves popping in to say hi. You might also spot Tazzy - however she is a bit shy! We’ve got chickens and cows too - and we’re always expanding.
